. . . and a young man’s fancy lightly turns to thoughts of a Carrefour boycott.

Let’s hope on this beautiful day at least some of the angry netizens we’ve been reading so much about will step away from their keyboards, leave their caves, and enjoy the sunlight. Real unfiltered sunlight today in Shanghai; no smog, no haze, just a few high clouds in the sky.

I’m steeping away from my keyboard, but before I do, here is a picture of Jing’an Park this morningJing’an Park

Jing’an Temple

The “four lion” pillar was recently erected and replaces an earlier pillar with a subtler capital (that didn’t make it through the cult. rev., hmm, on second thought angry young netizens, stay in your caves!). The pillar bears these characters: 正法久住 or “the true teaching long abides.” Amen!
