Odds & Ends: A new blog and a conference

August 27th, 2008 · 1 Comment

Odds & EndsThe demands of my day job will prevent me from providing you today with an informative, topical, yet light-hearted, post of the type you have come to expect on a daily basis from CELB.

Let me make amends by sending you over to The Economic Observer Online in particular the Blue Sky Games blog which is billed as containing “olympic musings.”  There is nothing earth-shattering posted (”Hey Beardo! Got Bombs?” is pretty funny, however), but if you read the blog with the understanding that it is hosted by a domestic Chinese news organization, it is pretty progressive stuff.  I hope the Economic Observer staff will keep up their efforts post-Olympics.

I would also like to bring your attention to the AmCham Shanghai: Sustainability Conference:

Enter the Green Dragon

The always informative ResponsibleChina.com was kind enough to provide a write-up about the conference so you can head there for further details.
